Vacancies

Vacancies within the Müllers Team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate to use their Christian faith to free children from material, relational, and spiritual poverty. We want to use the financial resources God gives us to see God’s Kingdom of justice, peace, and hope made a reality in the parts of our world that need it most.

For this to happen, we need someone to coordinate our grant giving and philanthropy. Working as part of our Global Partnerships team, you will support the allocation and distribution of a six-figure budget, resourcing and praying for our friends around the world who are bringing the hope and wholeness of Jesus to families in need. You will follow this up by ensuring the funds we distribute are being used with integrity and efficiency to see families thrive in life and faith.

If you are organised, proactive, passionate for justice, and ambitious for God’s Kingdom, we would love you to apply.

St Matthew’s vision is to be ‘Welcoming, Vibrant and Serving the Community – God’s love in action’. To inhabit this vision their focus is on Discipleship, Outreach and Social Action; doing all this with Grace and Gentleness and underpinned by a Foundation of Prayer. They are keen to appoint someone who has a heart for Jesus and is ready and keen to step out into their parish community in love.

St Matthew’s is an Anglican church in central Bristol, a community of all ages and diverse backgrounds, who gather together to worship God and encourage one another in their faith in Jesus Christ. They are going through an exciting period of growth as a church. While they only have a few children in their congregation, they have contact with many other families through King’s Kids, the thriving Tuesday morning stay and play; and St Matthew’s Playgroup, the ‘Outstanding’ pre-school playgroup. They are looking for someone whose main focus will be mission and outreach in the local community, through existing relationships and making new connections. However they also need to develop children's and young people’s discipleship within the church.

Youth Worker

Christ Church Downend is a growing evangelical Anglican church on the outskirts of Bristol. Our vision is drawn from John 10:10 with its emphasis on life in all it’s fulness, and our current aspirations are to go deeper with God, reach wider into the community and grow younger through intentional investment in our youth, children’s and families’ ministries. We are seeking to employ a part time youth worker (16-20 hours per week) to help grow our youth ministry, further developing the existing provision, and engaging more with unchurched young people through outreach and investment in the local secondary school. This is a key part of Christ Church’s stated aspiration to ‘Grow Younger’.

Salary: The Youth Intern salary would start from £12.21 per hour, with a higher rate paid to a more experienced professional.
