April Partner Update
We believe that prayer has the power to bring about change, and as we continue the work of George Müller, we are continually reminded that 'God is faithful still and hears prayers still.' Thank you so much for your continued prayer support for us and our partners. By praying through the Partner Update, you are actively supporting the work of those sharing the Gospel and caring for the vulnerable around the world.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live.”
John 11:25
1st - 2nd April: Müllers Bristol, UK
-
Müllers seeks to honour God, following in the footsteps of George Müller, by strengthening the Church to meet the needs of the vulnerable. We do this by freeing children from poverty, focusing people on Jesus, and fuelling leaders for mission and evangelism.
-
At the end of March, we hosted our fourth annual Y&C Conference. This was an amazing time where we saw over 100 individuals who work with under 18s across the Bristol region come together to be resourced, equipped, and strengthened in their work. Last month we also hosted the first of three Taster Days where people were invited to find out more about our free theology courses. If you would like to find out more about our theology courses, please visit mullers.org/theology.
-

Those who came to the Y&C Conference, to continue to be inspired by what they heard and that it would see their ministries strengthened and more under 18s in Bristol come to know the Lord.
3rd - 6th April: Easter Weekend
-
As we remember the death of Jesus Christ, join us in praying for our Global Partners who are in countries that mean they are at risk of harm, or even death, because of their faith.
As the disciples mourned Jesus, join us in praying for our Global Partners who are in places of conflict and face grief, fear and mourning daily. As Jesus taught in the Beatitudes, may they be blessed and comforted by God today.
As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, please pray with us for our partners who share the Gospel in the far reaches of the world. Join us in specifically praying for our partners who share the Gospel with children and young people in poverty, may God give them opportunities to be Christ’s ambassadors as they go about their ministry. May the young people our partners support be met with the Father’s mighty love, grace and freedom today.
7th - 10th April: House of Grace, Thailand
-
House of Grace cares for orphans who have lost their parents to AIDS and supports children affected by HIV. They provide accommodation, material and spiritual support and training support to help these vulnerable children and young people to access sustainable livelihoods and a better quality of life.
-
The team at House of Grace have been supporting several young people facing health challenges and transitions. One child, T, continues to undergo medical investigations for recurring blackouts; living with HIV and muscle weakness makes this especially difficult. Another young person, B, is currently seeking a job in her field of Microbiology after completing her studies. The team at House of Grace are looking into a potential tilapia fish farming project that could provide both food for the children and income for the home. They will be visiting a nearby university this month to seek advice, as the project would require significant investment and discernment.

Simon and Ruth live and work in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. They do this by providing skills training for the widows, walking alongside people by creating an encouraging community and preaching in partnership with local churches and organisations.
-
The new building for the John Pa Memorial Library and computer lab has now been completed, and the final stage involves constructing shelves and desks so the library can reopen, and donated computers can be made available to the community. The vision for the library remains to provide children in the village with access to educational resources they would otherwise lack.
Over recent months, Simon and Ruth have spent some time with and offered support for two boys whose father passed away last year. In addition, two widows in Port Moresby have received grants to begin small businesses - one raising chickens and the other preparing to open a trade store - creating new opportunities for stability and provision for their families.

-
Kuntla ministered and provided financial support to orphans and widows, he also shared the Gospel through preaching and teaching in small villages.
-
At the end of February one of our Global Partners, Kuntla Satyanarayana sadly passed away. Kuntla had been a Global Partner for over 20 years, and his life was a testimony to servant leadership, grounded in humility, courage, and deep compassion. His love for leprosy patients, their children, and children affected with HIV was especially evident. He did not merely preach about Christ’s love - he demonstrated it through sacrificial services and personal care for the most marginalised and forgotten. His legacy continues in the lives he touched, the leaders he raised, and the gospel-centred values he upheld.
-
Kuntla’s son David, daughter Caroline and their families as they continue to grieve. May the Lord’s comfort and blessing be with them.
Our Global Partners, Bethesda Leprosy Hospital, Hebron Girls’ Hostel, Holland Wharf Girls’ Hostel and Living Waters Radio Ministry who were supported by Kuntla. Pray that the Lord would be close to them in their grief and continue to bless their ongoing work with disadvantaged children.
