May Partner Update
We believe that prayer has the power to bring about change, and as we continue the work of George Müller, we are continually reminded that 'God is faithful still and hears prayers still.' Thank you so much for your continued prayer support for us and our partners. By praying through the Partner Update, you are actively supporting the work of those sharing the Gospel and caring for the vulnerable around the world.
‘And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus’
Philippians 4:19
1st-4th May: Müllers Bristol, UK
-
Müllers seeks to honour God, following in the footsteps of George Müller, by strengthening the Church to meet the needs of the vulnerable. We do this by freeing children from poverty, focusing people on Jesus, and fuelling leaders for mission and evangelism.
-
Last month The George Müller Museum hosted a number of Easter events and activities including two Easter craft days! During these two days we welcomed over 60 people to the museum, many of whom had never heard of George Müller and many who were not Christians. These events gave amazing opportunities for our team to share about faith with those who came along.
-
Those who came to the museum events who are not Christians, that a seed of faith would have been planted and that this would grow.
The Müllers Team as they recruit for a Heritage Schools Worker, that the day of interviews would go well and that the Lord would be giving wisdom to those involved in the recruitment process.
5th-8th May: Evangelical Action Brazil
-
All EA Brazil projects are church based, in four principal fields: sustainable development in rural areas, small schools for poor children providing education and a meal a day, leadership training in Bible Colleges and urban care centres.
-
EA Brazil oversees 16 small schools, which together serve over 800 children by providing not only quality education but also daily meals and the opportunity to hear the Gospel and learn about God. These schools play a vital role in nurturing the physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of the children they serve, many of whom come from vulnerable or underserved communities. Recently, two individuals from EA Brazil’s churches went missing. By God’s grace we are thankful that they were both found safely and returned home.
-
EA Brazil’s schools and pupils, that all the children would continue to grow in their faith.
One of the women who went missing that the Lord would be with her and give her peace as she faces depression.

13th- 16th May: Ruben Zaroussian, UK
-
As a Christian missionary and a Sports Pastor in the West Midlands Ruben uses Biblical preaching to proclaim the gospel message, including utilising sport based coaching activity as a means of relational engagement within and outside the Church.
-
In March Ruben was able to go on a trip to Germany where he shared fellowship and Bible study at the Christian Evangelical Order as well as at a church home group. So far this year Ruben has had many opportunities to teach the Gospel and participate in football evangelism across the UK. These times have given Ruben opportunities to share with those who don’t know Christ as well as help support those at the Missionary Christian Alliance in the UK.
-
Ruben’s trip to Armenia in June where he will be preaching in different villages and cities as well as coaching sport and sharing the Gospel with children and young people.
17th- 20th May: Rwandan Orphans Project
-
Starting back in 1991, the Rwanda Orphans Project has helped children from over 200 families and currently supports around 500 orphans in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda.
-
The Skills Training Centre connected to Rwanda Orphans Project is having some difficulties due to the closure of USAID support. A large number of disadvantaged girls used to receive places in the centre to learn hairdressing, catering or tailoring but this support from USAID has now been stopped. The Rwandan government has endorsed the centre and with the current situation all skills training schools have been encouraged to become more commercially minded by taking on commercial work. The welding teacher recently took the students to put a roof on a church as well as make all the doors and windows for the building.
-
The resources and provision needed for the Skills Training Centre to continue now USAID support has stopped.
21st - 24th May: The Hiding Place, Albania
-
The Hiding Place is a children’s home in Gjirokastër, Albania. It was set up with the aim to give a home to babies, who otherwise would have been aborted by their desperate mothers, and children whose parents cannot provide for them.
-
The Albanian state has recently closed four orphanages even though the need for them remains high. This means that The Hiding Place now solely relies on the support of churches, Christian organisations, and individuals. The Hiding Place team have begun leading a time of devotion with the children at home every day, which is a wonderful opportunity for the children to hear Bible stories and spend time in prayer together.
-
The children’s physical, emotional and mental development.
The children’s faith to grow as they continue to read the Bible together every day.

-
Home Leone is working to build a new Destiny Village to enable people to exit slums in Sierra Leone. Unfortunately, several people have been trying to steal its land and equipment and despite huge efforts through the government and police Home Leone have faced opposition at every turn.
-
Justice for Home Leone to recover its land and property.
Wisdom for the trustees and leaders as they manage these challenges.
The 450 children in Destiny Grace academy to know the Lord.
God to protect and guide the teachers and children.
29th-31st May: Mavuno Christian Community Development Project, Kenya
-
Mavuno works to restore and assist orphans and vulnerable children, widows and other disadvantaged people in order for them to realise their potential and access the basic amenities for life.
-
Jane who leads Mavuno has recently been facing some health challenges which has meant she has been unwell for the last month, but thankfully she is now recovering. The school continues to share the good news of the gospel with students whilst providing each child with a good quality education and a warm meal. The school has recently been able to provide their teachers with more training opportunities as well as take on a group of new students.
-
The Lord to continue to fill the team, teachers and children with the hope, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit.
The centre to help students thrive in their education and be firmly rooted in Christ.
