June Partner Update
We believe that prayer has the power to bring about change, and as we continue the work of George Müller, we are continually reminded that 'God is faithful still and hears prayers still.' Thank you so much for your continued prayer support for us and our partners. By praying through the Partner Update, you are actively supporting the work of those sharing the Gospel and caring for the vulnerable around the world.
‘For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.’
Psalm 100:5
1st - 4th June: Müllers Bristol, UK
-
Müllers seeks to honour God, following in the footsteps of George Müller, by strengthening the Church to meet the needs of the vulnerable. We do this by freeing children from poverty, focusing people on Jesus, and fuelling leaders for mission and evangelism.
-
Last month, our STC students enjoyed a refreshing retreat day together at Ashton Court in Bristol. It was a valuable opportunity to step outside the classroom and spend intentional time in community - sharing, reflecting, and discussing what they’ve learned so far on the course. This month the Müllers team is excited to host the Summer Youth & Children’s Retreat. Youth and children’s workers from across the Bristol region will gather for a morning of worship, prayer, and rest - taking a much-needed pause from the busyness of ministry to reconnect with God and one another.

Both projects provide nutritious food for the poorest families and generate additional income to support widows, orphans, and other vulnerable members with essentials like medicine and school fees.
-
At the end of March, the hand-drilled well at World Mission Church was successfully completed. This new source of clean water is a huge blessing - not only for the church but also for the surrounding community. World Mission Church currently supports 46 adults, including 9 widows, as well as 42 children, 11 of whom are orphans. Under the leadership of Pastor Manuel, the church continues to provide care and nourishment through regular Saturday lunches for children attending Bible classes and for families in particular need.

At their Good Friday service, some of the older children had the opportunity to share reflections on the seven words of Jesus on the cross with their congregation.
