What does Müllers do?

Müllers exists to help every child encounter the Gospel every year. To achieve this, we will focus on resourcing, educating, connecting, and inspiring faith in people towards freeing children from material, relational, and spiritual poverty

Inspire Faith

Through The Mix, a quarterly worship event, we share the Gospel with youth groups in the Bristol region. We pray daily for our Global Partners. As our founder George Müller did, we continue to rely on faith resource our work as well as the work of our partners. Through our museum, school visits and community talks we continue to inspire faith through sharing George Müllers story.

Connect

Through the Bristol Y&C Network and our Local Church Partnership Initiative, we connect those working with under-18s across the Bristol region to support, resource and encourage one another.

Educate

We train Christians through free theological training, alongside coaching and training delivered via our Y&C Network and local church partnerships.

We take Müllers' story into schools and communities through visits and talks, teaching the next generation what faith in action looks like.

Through our Local Church Partnerships, we coach those working with under 18s, giving them practical tools and skills to sustain them for the long haul.

Resource

We give grants, both locally and internationally, to our partners. For our Global Partners, we handle all administration of donations as well as covering all international bank charges and admin costs.

We also host and facilitate ecumenical events, including our annual Y&C Conference, that equips and inspires those working with under 18s across Bristol.

Our History

George Müller cared for 10,000 orphaned children in Bristol during the Victorian era. He was a man of great faith, never making appeals for money, but simply praying to God for all that was needed. During his lifetime he received £1,500,000 in money and gifts in kind. At present day prices, this would be over £100m.

He pioneered care for vulnerable children with his principles enduring and forming a foundation of social care in the UK today.

He also led churches, travelled the world as a missionary, spoke to American presidents and taught the Bible, all so that, in his words, “it may be seen that God is faithful still and hears prayers still.” Find out more about Müller’s amazing story at the George Müller Museum website.
