We’re delighted to be jointly hosting with Send a Cow this evening of prayer and reflection at Müller House, 7 Cotham Park, Bristol, BS6 6DA, on Wednesday 22nd February, from 7.00 - 8.30. We believe that it is through the power of prayer, alongside action, that we can help to ‘defend the weak and the fatherless and uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed’ (Psalm 82). We will share stories from projects supported by Müllers and Send a Cow’s Ugandan Orphans Project.
One such story (from Send a Cow) is that of Kasiita and his 5 siblings, whose parents died from HIV/Aids when he was just 15 years old, and his youngest brother was 2. Since then, Kasiita has devoted his life to look after his brothers and sisters. It has been a daily struggle to survive but he has always done his best for them. With Send a Cow’s help, they have begun to turn their lives around and look forward to a time when they will be able to support themselves.
Kasiita’s family is just one of so many families across Africa that face such hardship and loss. If you feel passionate about defending the weak and fatherless, please do join us on 22nd February to pray for orphans in Africa.
