Could your church throw a birthday celebration in the form of a street party, school assembly or as part of a lunch group?
2016 sees the Queen celebrate her 90th birthday. It’s a wonderful milestone to have reached and marking it in your community could provide valuable opportunities to engage with lots of people of all ages; gathering people together to not only celebrate Queen Elizabeth's birthday and have a slice of a cake but to thank God for her faithful service.
There are a range of fantastic resources that have been produced to help you mark this occasion. In a book called The Servant Queen and the King She Serves, the Queen's words are used to draw out her faith in Jesus Christ. A special edition, to which the Queen has written a foreword, has also been produced for schools which include many interesting fact about our reigning monarch.
Müllers would love to hear how you're planning to mark this event throughout the Bristol City Region, whether its sharing the book The Servant Queen with a neighbour, hosting a street party or having a thanksgiving service at your church.
