Sunday 1st November marks ADOPTION SUNDAY 2015 which is an amazing opportunity for churches to share the good news of our adoption into God’s family and to respond to the needs of children and young people in the UK care system.
George Müller transformed the lives of 10,000 vulnerable children during the 19th century. Obviously, the UK has changed dramatically since then but the need to care for vulnerable children remains just as important today. ADOPTION SUNDAY 2015 is a great chance to pray for foster carers and adoptive families in your church and for vulnerable children in your community.
Why not join with many other churches in the UK on Sunday 1st November? Home for Good has produced some excellent resources to help you mark ADOPTION SUNDAY 2015. Sign up with them today and you will receive prayer cards for your congregation, as well as being able to access many more resources: Adoption Sunday film, prayer, interview questions, song for response time, children's and young people's programme ideas, worship song suggestions, two sermon outlines, and more.
Please consider helping Home for Good to raise awareness of the children waiting for adoption, while celebrating our adoption into God’s family.
