Bethesda (Leprosy) Hospital, Narsapur, India

In addition to providing medical care for adult leprosy patients and those with HIV / Aids, the hospital runs a school / hostel facility for children of leprosy and HIV / Aids patients, Sunday School and outreach. The work under the supervision of Mr K Satyanarayana continues to flourish. The school has getting on for 200 children and includes a number of children from local villages (which seems to indicate that the stigma of leprosy has reduced).

Ministry amongst children continues to give great joy and satisfaction especially when young boys and girls give their lives to Jesus Christ. The children in the hostel are sponsored. The hostel is especially for children with leprosy or are children leprosy patients. More recently, they have started to take children whose parents are HIV /Aids patients. There is also a hostel and home schooling unit for 50 children with HIV / Aids named the George Müller Home for HIV /Aids children. This work which was started in 1923 continues to thrive.

Please pray for it.
