EXPERIENCED BOOKKEEPER
REQUIRED
We seek a full time Finance
Officer at our Bristol headquarters

To manage the Trust’s
finances with integrity and efficiency
-
To maintain the financial
records in an accurate and timely way and
provide regular management information to
the Chief Executive and Trustees
-
To administer all aspects
of salary, payroll and employment process
-
To prepare end of year
information for auditing and tax purposes
The successful candidate must
be thoroughly competent and experienced
in all aspects of bookkeeping and financial
administration, including pensions and invoicing.
The role involves regular use of IT systems
for transaction processing and management
reporting as well as the handling of investment
funds.
The Trust retains the key
Christian principles of George Müller,
including seeking finance through prayer
rather than fundraising. We work together
with local churches in the greater Bristol
area to enable them to reach out and care
for their communities, especially children,
young people and families with physical,
emotional, social or spiritual needs. We
provide residential care for the elderly
and we enable giving to support mission,
social care, relief and development work
across the world.
Remuneration will be commensurate
with responsibility and experience, and
will reflect the longstanding character
and ethos of the charity.
There is a genuine occupational
requirement for this post to be filled by
a committed evangelical Christian.
